Last June, we took to L.A. to host an event at Crewest gallery with the Hong Kong-based menswear denim line Guerilla24. You may have read something about it. Cali artists Brendan Donnelly and Sterling Bartlett teamed up to create selvedge-inspired artwork that referenced Venice Beach, San Francisco in the ’60s, and the juxtaposition of various subcultures. Leading up the event, we traced the roots of these two natural born illustrators, all the way back to the first times their pencils met paper. Watch the video above for an intimate look at the lives and art of Brendan Donnelly and Sterling Bartlett.
