It’s been too long (three years to be exact) since Natasha Khan released an album as her alter-ego Bat for Lashes. 2009′s Two Suns made the Brighton native an instant pinup for daydreaming art kids and administrative assistants with a poetry degree. Finally, after touring with Coldplay, collaborating with Beck, and lending a Twilight soundtrack with the indie cred it so desperately covets, Khan is back with The Haunted Man, a polished, haunting, and deeply feminine record. Here’s an exclusive interview with the multi-instrumentalist while she was in town recently promoting the new record.
