Maybe it’s the report of another storm barreling through the Midwest. Or the winter chill that won’t give up it’s grip on New York. Whatever it is, we’re chilled to the bone and our thoughts are drifting northward, toward the Arctic.  A hundred and fifty years ago, Captain Sir John Franklin’s thoughts, and ships, were drifting to the Arctic too.  That is, until both his ships became icebound. No one knows exactly what happened to Franklin and his crew, apart from that they all met their frozen graves. A search party later found a document inside a cave not far from where they camped. On it, there was the following note: ” “Sir John Franklin commanding the Expedition. All well.”
