When a national police convention in Miami Beach is threatened by a terrorist attack in the dead-heat of spring break, the motley crew of Reno 911! cops come to the rescue in 2007's "Reno 911!: Miami." Luckily, their favorite miscreant, Terry, came long for the ride. When Deputy Trudy Wiegel finally catches the hot pants-wielding Terry, she asks, "God Terry, what are you covered in?" In true Terry fashion he responds, "Oh that's...Apple Martini lube." WATCH IT NOW

1960's "Where the Boys Are" is a bit like that era's Girls. You have Tuggle (the awkward one), Angie (the kooky one), Melanie (the romantic one), and Merritt (the level-headed one), but instead of lusting after Adam, Ray, Charlie, and Booth around Brooklyn, they're necking with Tomboy, TV, and Basil around Fort Lauderdale. You're forgiven for not having watched "Spring Breakdown," Amy Poehler's 2009 requisite post-SNL vehicle that got less than stellar reviews. But with a cast of Parker Posey, Rachel Dratch, Seth Meyers, and Jane Lynch, this story of former college nerds hitting spring break to live the life they never knew is worth a second look. Just look at Poehler's do! WATCH IT NOW

Better remembered as a portly, jump-suit wearing gag with over-sized sideburns, once upon a time Elvis was a babe of intergalactic proportions and we have the proof: 1965's "Girl Happy," in which a mobster hires the crooner to keep an eye on his daughter during spring break. Smart move, dad. WATCH IT NOW

One of a number of films that blended the spring break genre with horror, 1989's "Nightmare Beach" is the story of football jocks Skip and Ronnie, and a disgruntled biker-murderer who executes his victims by electrocution. WATCH IT NOW

1987's "Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise" is one of the few cinematic sequels that rivals, if not betters, its predecessor. White socks fit snugly into their sandals, Lewis Skolnick, Dudley Booger Dawson, and Lamar Latrelle head down to Florida for a convention and an epic rematch against the Alpha Beta fraternity, one of whom laments bitterly: "There could be a nuclear war; there'd be nothing left but cockroaches and nerds." So true. WATCH IT NOW

1983's "Spring Break" is as straight-forward as its title suggests. Two studs shuttle down to Fort Lauderdale (yet again!) to gawk over wet T-shirt contests, saturate every inch of their bulky bodies in beer, and get laid. But thier vacation comes under attack when an over-controlling step-dad wants to shut down the party and a building inspector tries to condemn their motel. Those are some heavy problems, dudes. Fifty thousand college students on spring break on Lake Victoria certainly looks like a meat market. At least that's what the deadly fish of 2010's "Piranha" thought. I mean, just look at this shot: they chomped her up like an Oreo, snacking on the delicious middle part first! WATCH IT NOW

Yes, Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers was awesome, and yes, James Franco donning corn-rows in his Riff Raff get-up is worth the price of admission alone. But Spring Breakers isn’t the first film to immortalize America’s annual week of debauchery. Here are eight others who do it just as good, if not better.
