At last night’s debate, Trump focused on the *important* issues, which, naturally, included doubling down on his hateful, sexist opinion of Rosie O’Donnell. Because what presidential candidate doesn’t name check both O’Donnell and Howard Stern when arguing why they should be the leader of the free world? #Politics.
After Hillary brought up Trump’s history of sexist remarks (see: the remarks he made just this morning on the weight of a former Miss Universe contestant), Trump responded by saying that those remarks (specifically calling women “pigs,” “slobs” and “dogs”) were largely directed at O’Donnell and that “everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her.”
Well Donald, there’s at least one person who disagrees, and that person is Madonna. The singer took to Instagram to defend her A League of Their Own costar, saying “Mess with my girl Rosie and you’re messing with me!!! Cruelty never made anyone a winner.”
That’s right, Trump, you just messed with Madonna. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
