Brands are bad! Except the ones we like, which are good. But even that gets a little tricky, because the process of salesmanship is built on a flimsy set of lies. Except if we’re selling stuff, which, again, is good stuff. Regardless of where you fall on the Marxtistic spectrum, it’s probably safe to say that a healthy dose of skepticism in the way brands try to sell us their wares is a good thing to have.
