Just What The World Needs, Another Kim Kardashian

+

If Kim Kardashian’s meteoric rise to fame bothers you, then this is really going to push you into a fit of rage. A woman by the name of Kamilla Osman is enjoying a spike in online popularity just for looking like Kim. Through the magic of contouring and with a little (or a lot) of help from her friendly neighborhood plastic surgeon, Osman is easily mistaken for Kanye’s wifey, only difference is she never had to sleep with Ray J.

And if you didn’t think it could get any worse, the two met to take the most disturbing selfie in the history of social media:

Yes, we are living in an age where just looking like someone famous is enough to make you famous (well, internet famous, anyway). Osman is by no means the first to reap the benefits of this absurd development. There’s Harry Styles’ mini me, Jacob Skelton, who’s often proposed to by his adoring fans, there’s Swedish bartender Konrad Annerud, whose resemblance to peak era Leonardo DiCaprio created an astounding amount of online thirst and then there’s this guy who seems to have made a career out of posing as various celebrities on Instagram.

But the terrifying difference between previous celebrity lookalikes and Osman is she seems to have gotten work done specifically to look like Kim, also further accentuating the resemblance through her clothes, poses and facial expressions (i.e. selfie duck face). And what’s more terrifying is it’s working – Osman now boasts 234K followers, which isn’t a crazy amount but is more than enough to enjoy a comfortable career off of sponsored posts and product placement.

Sorry aspiring musicians, actors, models and people who want to be famous just for the hell of it, a cheap Kim Kardashian knock-off has an easier time becoming famous than you, smh.
