Comic book writer/snake god worshipper Alan Moore is, and has always been, a prickly fellow. For years, he’s made a point of dismissing any associates who didn’t conform to his rigorous, righteous ideals. He’s capable of collaboration in other fields, though, as this song called “Queen of Midnight” shows: Moore wrote lyrics for the track, which has vocals from TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpu and instrumentation by Crook & Fail. It’ll be in an upcoming movie called Jimmy’s End, but you can get a head start on wearing out the weary-sounding track, which owes a lot to Adebimpu’s fragile delivery, right below. It’s nice to see Moore getting out of his castle and socializing with regular folks, though I imagine it was probably all done over email.
