You can learn a lot of lessons about life from your drug dealer. For example, don’t ever become a drug dealer because that shit looks mad depressing and stressful. Every now and again though, a special drug dealer comes along, a kindhearted soul who will take you under his wing and teach you the finer points of the trade, and maybe, just maybe, a little bit about life.
That’s the story at the heart of the new indie comedy Why Stop Now, which is being pre-released on iTunes and cable On Demand before its theatrical release on August 17.
The film stars Jessie Eisenberg as a
Mark Zuckerberg piano prodigy who has a big audition to get into a prestigious school. RECORD SCRATCH. Not if his drug addict mother has anything to say about it! HIGH JINX CLIPS.
Melissa Leo, who we saw last night date-raping Louis C.K. on Louie, plays another one of her delightfully brassy scumbags, while the drug dealer with a heart of gold role goes to Tracy Morgan. It’s a story about love, but also about oxies, which for a lot of people probably feel like the exact same thing.
