Princess Nokia has blessed us with a lot in the past few weeks––1992 Deluxe for one, a double-feature music video, and now, a fashion campaign with NYC-based streetwear brand MadeMe. Her second time modeling for the brand, the F/W ‘17 campaign shows Princess Nokia in a series of statement jackets, classy ‘80s & ‘90s patterns––a.k.a. no overdone neon––and nerdy backpack charms, as well as a cutesy bambi logo tee emblazoned with “TOXIC SHOCK.”
Out today, the campaign’s accompanying film features Nokia singing George Michael in the tacky love motel of your wildest dreams. Shot by Mayan Toledano and Orian Barki, it’s literally the only one-minute video that will make you appreciate “I’m Never Gonna Dance Again”––how have I never realized how great this song is?
