Subtlety hasn’t once been on the agenda for RuPaul’s Drag Race runner-up Courtney Act, and her latest video, “Body Parts,” thankfully doesn’t veer from that candy-colored standard. Offering a chic homage to Madonna’s iconic 1990 “Vogue” treatment, Act packed her own glam video with clips of ripped shirtless dancers, magical kaleidoscope imagery, seductive finger-sucking, monstrous diamonds, and ’80s magenta lips. (Screams).
The bubbly track was lifted from Act’s new Kaleidoscope EP, and co-penned by Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears and Sam Sparro. “It’s about having relations with straight-identifying men when your body parts don’t match those of a biological female,” Act said to Paper. “The video is really sexy and made me want to touch myself when I watched it. I’ve worked with The Squared Division many times over the years. I was so excited and honored to create this video with them. Its so slick and sexy.” Watch, below, and soak up every ounce of Act’s glittery, gay gorgeousness.
