Watch a Feature on the Making of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

It’s not easy being Batman. So begins the story of The Dark Knight Rises. When we catch up with everyone’s favorite sociopathic cos-play crusader, the stress of keeping the streets of Gotahm safe have taken their toll. Eight years after the events of the last film, he’s gone into Bat-retirement, leaving a Bat-vacuum for bad guys who “want to watch the world burn.” Fanboys among us will know all of this already, but this feature on the making of the film digs into the motivations of the new characters: Catwoman, mumbly bad guy Bane, and Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Marion Cotillard reprising their roles from Inception, I guess? Not sure on that part, I was too busy paying attention to all the behind-the-scenes special effects production shots in here. How do you make a football stadium explode? How bad ass is that flying Batmobile? Is fictionalized Hines Ward just as annoying in a comic book movie as he is in the real NFL? Is any of this even happening? Was it all a dream? BRAHHHHMMM.
