I think the takeaway from this stunt in which a young couple, James Doernberg and Kai Jordan, visited every single subway station in Manhattan in one 9 hour long journey through the strength of the human spirit, but also, more specifically, the subway of the human spirit, is that youth is magic, and ah, to be carefree and sincere and so forth. I think what actually happened here, on the contrary, is that these are two tourists who got lost trying to find their way around the city, and faced with an encroaching sense of isolation and paranoia, reverted to the primal instincts of the contemporary young person who so infrequently has to interact with another strange human being face to face and began taking selfies as a form of coded distress signal.
Either that or the young love thing.
Check out the rest here for whatever reason you might have for doing that, and then join me in saying that these two happy, adventurous kids with their whole lives ahead of them, and many more exciting journeys afoot can go screw themselves.
