During an interview with Sean Hannity, the natural choice for moderating a discussion on issues facing African Americans, Donald Trump will reportedly call for a nationwide stop-and-frisk policy to reduce violence. The program will air tonight.
“I would do stop-and-frisk. I think you have to,” he responded to an audience member, in part. “We did it in New York, it worked incredibly well, and you have to be proactive and, you know, you really help people sort of change their mind automatically.”

Trump’s proposal for an all-powerful national law enforcement agency enabled to stop and detain any person at any time without cause follows on statements he made earlier this week on his stance on habeas corpus. You will not be surprised to know he doesn’t put much stock in it.
