The Twitter account of Badlands National Park in South Dakota has apparently been instructed to remove a series of tweets today that seemed to purposely defy a gag order from the Trump administration. The now-deleted tweets referenced the rise in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and ocean acidity.
They may have forced Badlands National Park Twitter to take down the tweets… but we got screenshots pic.twitter.com/FLluNZgn02

Trump has said that he does not believe climate change is real, having called it a Chinese hoax, and has made clear his intent to roll back environmental regulations.
Last week all National Park accounts were instructed to cease social media use following the National Park Service’s retweeting of images of Trump’s inauguration that showed much thinner crowds than in the past — something Trump and his press secretary have continued to lie about.
The administration has also ordered a freeze on communication from the EPA, and the Department of Health and Human Services jas reportedly been instructed to cease communicating with the public and with elected officials.
