Photographer TK Anderson (A.K.A. “Teek the Sneak”) was hunting for garments that balanced structure and motion, while allowing the model to openly explore her sexuality. This is where California brand NOE came in. Built on the belief that garments shouldn’t be labeled, NOE’s S/S ’15 collection marries innerwear with sportswear, using unconventional fabrics like denim and neoprene to construct intimates like bralettes and panties. This season’s muted color palette reflects the Golden State’s beach culture, while small splashes of color on the underside of straps or on pantie crotches echo more high-octane street fashion.
