Three new women have come forward alleging that Donald Trump, still, somehow, the Republican Party candidate for the presidency, touched them inappropriately and without consent today.
One, a woman named Jessica Leeds recounted a story from 30 years ago to the New York Times in which Trump molested her on an airplane.
About 45 minutes after takeoff, she recalled, Mr. Trump lifted the armrest and began to touch her.
According to Ms. Leeds, Mr. Trump grabbed her breasts and tried to put his hand up her skirt.
“He was like an octopus,” she said. “His hands were everywhere.”
She fled to the back of the plane. “It was an assault,” she said.
The allegations come in the fallout of the release of a video in which Trump was heard bragging about how easy it is for him to have his way with women due to his fame.
A second woman, Rachel Crooks, told of her time as a secretary in 2005.
Ms. Crooks was a 22-year-old receptionist at Bayrock Group, a real estate investment and development company in Trump Tower in Manhattan, when she encountered Mr. Trump outside an elevator in the building one morning in 2005.
Aware that her company did business with Mr. Trump, she turned and introduced herself. They shook hands, but Mr. Trump would not let go, she said. Instead, he began kissing her cheeks. Then, she said, he “kissed me directly on the mouth.”
It didn’t feel like an accident, she said. It felt like a violation.
“It was so inappropriate,” Ms. Crooks recalled in an interview. “I was so upset that he thought I was so insignificant that he could do that.”
A third woman, Mindy McGillivray, told the Palm Beach Post today that Trump grabbed her behind while working on a photo shoot at one of his resorts.
On Sunday night, Trump was asked by Anderson Cooper if there was any substance to the comments he made to Billy Bush, which has has been attempting to dismiss as “locker room talk.”
“Have you ever done those things?” Cooper asked.
“No, I have not,’’ Trump replied.
As if that were not enough, a tape has emerged today of Trump making a reference to young girls, as CBS reports.
In an “Entertainment Tonight” Christmas feature in 1992, Trump looked at a group of young girls and said he would be dating one of them in ten years. At the time, Trump would have been 46 years old.
In the clip, Trump asks one of the girls if she’s “going up the escalator.” When the girl replies, “yeah,” Trump turns to the camera and says: “I am going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?”
Earlier today stories emerged about Trump walking in unannounced into the dressing rooms of beauty pageant contestants. That should do it. There have been no more stories about Trump’s misconduct today at this time.
