“Hey, let’s all promise that in ten years from today, we’ll meet again, and we’ll see what kind of people we’ve blossomed into.”
And lo, as the prophecy foretold, it shall come to pass, as Netflix has announced the upcoming “Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later” today.
The series, written by Michael Showalter and directed by David Wain will comprise eight new 30 minute episodes. No word is available yet on the cast, but based on the gag of “First Day of Camp”, using actors 15 years older playing younger versions of themselves, something tells me it won’t be as straightforward as the premise implies. Whatever it is, it’s safe to assume that Bradley Cooper and Elisabeth Banks, if they appear, will not have aged at all.
