Not to alarm you, but I’m already in your head: I know that you know exactly the type of joke that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino would make in an ad for PETA given his very well-publicized predilection for broadcasting how much he loves women basically all of the time. Think about it. Really, think about it. As you can see above, that’s exactly what they went with, despite any and all ideas that it might be horrifically cheesy and/or misadvised and/or oh my God who even watches Jersey Shore anymore, is PETA stuck in a retrograde continuity loop in which the only celebrities they can get to hawk their aggro-activist message are ones that people like myself are more likely to point a finger at rather than nod and consider the implication of not fixing their cat? The only cats I interact with are homeless ones, sadly. But I can definitely point at this ad.
