For their current exhibition, Museum and filmmaker/artist Van Neistat want to arm you with a unique gift. “The Golden Word” is an event meets pop-up shop, meets performance piece. Neistat is brother to filmmaker Casey Neistat, who he appeared with in their self-titled HBO show The Neistat Brothers. Sept. 19 – Oct. 3, by appointment only, Neistat will be at the elevator-sized museum (New York City’s smallest) on Cortlandt Alley personalizing SwissChamp army knives. Inscribed in gold leaf, on the front will be the giftee’s name, and on the back a golden word that the giver will decide upon with the help of Neistat. These bad-ass knives include the standard SwissChamp accoutrements, bar and manicure tools, and are a perfect one of a kind gift.
