Artwork: Åsa Stenerhag
A pillar of Stockholm’s local fashion scene, Filippa K unveiled its fall ’16 collection in the Czech Embassy this week, piecing together a cohesive installation called, “Seeking Patterns,” with artwork by longtime collaborator Åsa Stenerhag. The Swedish native, who previously worked as a designer for the Scandinavian label, created a series of work that visually complements this season’s clothing. Just as Filippa K’s pieces individually explored the beauty of natural colors and richness of textural fabrics, Stenerhag’s art offered a study in tonal simplicity and organic materials.
