Sex meets streetwear in Supreme’s newest collaboration with Japanese cult photographer Nobuyoshi Araki.
In a career spanning over 50 years, Akari’s work quickly became known for its diary-style approach to bondage art and female sexuality. More famously, Akari has spent his career making erotic photos flowers, reminiscent of female genitalia. Now his art has become the topic of Supreme’s new capsule collection, modeled by Kiko Mizuhara, slated for release later this week.
The line includes hooded sweatshirts and tees printed with provocative images in reference to Akari’s infamous floral series, alongside a zine shot by Kiko. You can shop the full collection, here, on Nov. 3.
