The most fabulous rats in NYC have found a home at Vogue’s new digs at WTC.
A source told Page Six that rats have been spotted under and on employee’s desks (thank heavens it’s not open toe Manolos weather). The fashion mag’s snitchiest employee also told the gossip rag that Anna Wintour “doesn’t want to hear about it.” Understandable – it is unlikely that a fashion magazine’s editor in chief is the most appropriate person to deal with a rodent problem.
This isn’t the first time the critters have been spotted snooping around Vogue’s new offices; last November a source told People, “The girls that work there see the droppings everywhere. It’s nasty.”
Supposedly employees have been ordered not to eat at their desks so that their unwanted guests will find another office to infest (hey rats, try GQ – they probably have better food anyway. Remember all that lox when Hannah worked there on Girls?).
So, according to Vogue, llamas are chic, rats not so much.
