There was a moment last night at the Academy Awards where we thought the most grotesque thing about John Travolta would be his factory-made hair. Then, he got on stage, and in one of the most inexplicable moments in recent Oscar memory, pronounced the name of Broadway star Idina Menzel as Adele Dazeem, or something. (For the record, there really is an Adele Dazeem and she’s used the incident to accrue slight net fame.)
