Yesterday news started to spread around the internet that a talented knitter was selling a series of Morrissey dolls, and, as in most things related to Morrissey, lots of people thought it was the best thing ever, and many others didn’t get it. Unfortunately, all of the attention drummed up for designer Kate Park has resulted in her temporarily shutting down ordering options on her site due to overwhelming demand.

“Due to unexpected online publicity, I am now dealing with a very large backlog of doll enquiries,” she writes on her site. “No more enquiries for now, please. Hopefully, I will be adding new dolls to this blog early next year, so please check back then. I’ve also had to block emails until I can get back on top of things. Sorry about that – email should be back up in a few days.”
That being said, just because it doesn’t look like I’m going to get what I want this time, that doesn’t mean I still can’t cry about it. I know it’s gonna happen, someday, soon.
