SNL’s Lonely Island, Adam Levine, and Kendrick Lamar Want You to be Safe on ‘YOLO’

It’s probably not a coincidence that just before I came across this new digital short from Lonely Island featuring Adam Levine and Kendrick Lamar from last night’s Saturday Night Live that I was reading about how Smoking shortens life spans by at least 10 years and that it might be possible to self-screen for Parkinson’s disease with a phone call — I’m definitely going to die from one of those, LOL. But now I’ve got to add sauna piranhas, falling pianos, poisoned food, spying mailmen, choking pajamas, and killing machine furniture to the list of fears as well. Thanks for the cautionary tale, you guys. You can never be too safe. You only live (in constant fear) once.

They do bring up a good point though. You ever find it surprising how often it is that you don’t get killed? I think it’s a miracle that we manage to pilot these goofy meat husks around all day without constantly being smashed into bone paste by literally every single thing.

Even more surprising than all the death traps out there just waiting to kill us is that anyone managed to squeeze a few last drops of comedy blood out of YOLO; it was looking pretty dead for a minute there.

Watch it here.
