The old boy’s still got it, we all chuckled to ourselves, when these photos of Marilyn Manson arriving at LAX airport with the words “FUCK YOU” drawn across his face showed up on Reddit this weekend. Shocking the world with his trademark brand of DGAF style once again, we texted one another feverishly.
What was the point again though? Having just gotten back from a trip of six different flights in the span of three days myself, I can completely relate to the sentiment. Can’t remember a span of an entire minute when the words “fuck you” or “fuck this” weren’t running through my mind in an airport. [Just a thought, but instead of teaching multiculturalism in college white people should simply have to fly all the time to learn a valuable lesson about what it's like to be invisible and powerless.] So maybe he was expressing his frustration with a system that treats us all like presumed criminals at every turn, gouges us financially, offers a shitty service, and provides us with no other alternative for travel? That would be my move.
Turns out it wasn’t just a ploy to bring the world quivering to its knees in horror though, it was, rather, an ingenious disguise. A bit obvious, Alec Baldwin said. One witness explained the details (via Buzzfeed.)
I just went through the LAX security line with Marilyn Manson. He had “F*CK” scrawled in large letters across the bottom half of his face, with what appeared to be a grease pencil. As we each removed our boots in the security line, he kindly explained that it was not directed at me or anyone else in the airport, but rather at the paparazzi, so that they couldn’t sell any photos of him that they took. He was really apologetic about it, and covered his mouth around young children while apologizing to their parents for exposing their child to profanity.
What a pussy though, right? The old Manson we all know and love would have kicked those stupid kids right in their pathetic tits and shoved condoms full of coke up the TSA agent’s rectums. More pictures from FameFlynet Pictures here.
