Remember fat-shaming chubby kids in elementary school (or, if you were chubby, remember being fat-shamed by assholes in elementary school?)? Unfortunately, it’s a pattern as old as time, but then you hit high school… wait no, it still totally happens in high school. Okay then you hit college (unless you’re in a frat) and realize making fun of someone’s weight to their face is, you know, cruel.
Enter adult schoolyard bully Donald Trump, who evidently doesn’t give any fucks about being cruel. The Republican presidential hopeful (and giant dick), let an overweight fellow on the Worcester, Massachusetts playground have it when said overweight fellow interrupted his speech.
“We have 93 million people out of the labor force, we have 50 million people in poverty, we have 43 million – and now it’s actually going to be probably closer to 50 – 50 million people on food stamps,” Trump says, at which point the Republican Party’s newest enemy number one shouts out something that’s, unfortunately, inaudible on the video feed.
Then Trump, ever the wisecracking asshole, shouts back, “I mention food stamps and that guy who’s seriously overweight went crazy. Amazing.” (Note: Trump’s figure about the food stamps was actually inaccurate; there are about 45 million folks on food stamps, and that number is declining).
Not wanting their own insecurities pointed out in public, the crowd applauds.
