Last night was a big, big night for Rihanna. Although she lost to Beyoncé for Best Female Video (as did basically everyone else in every other category), the Anti singer was awarded the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, honoring her legendary music videos throughout the last decade.
She also performed a series of incredible mash-ups, featuring her greatest hits, from “Only Girl (In The World)” to “Bitch Better Have My Money,” and wore a fresh costume for each of her four on-stage moments—our favorite moment was the custom Gauntlett Cheng du-rag during “Work.”
From there, Rihanna partied at Manhattan’s Up&Down alongside Drake, Kid Cudi, Chance The Rapper, Desiigner, Tinashe and Amber Rose, as well as Halsey, The Chainsmokers and fashion world elites, from Naomi Campbell and Tyson Beckford to Shaun Ross and Hailey Baldwin. Apparently, David Blaine was there, too.
