I shouldn’t have to say anything following that awesome album cover, should I? But fine, I’ll expand a little. Logorrheic madman and BULLETT advice columnist RiFF RAFF announced that his debut for Diplo’s Mad Decent label will be out next week on August 8, and that it’ll be called BiRTH OF AN iCON. You can go over to Pitchfork and listen to “TERROR WRiST,” one of the album’s songs that actually includes a blank second verse so you can add your own rhymes and pretend you’re rapping alongside RiFF RAFF himself. If that and the album cover weren’t enough, he offered up this response when Pitchfork asked if an eight-album deal was daunting: “Yeah. But I’ll be a millionaire by the end of the year, a billionaire after three or four years, and a trillionaire after eight years. I’m not worried. Why wouldn’t I want to keep accumulating money?” He’s great. Remember to check out the advice column he contributes to BULLETT, in case you haven’t already. The last one featured the same photo on his album cover, which came to us via photographer Chelsey Croucher. Work it, gurl!
