Guys, BULLETT does not, under any circumstances, cover the kind of tacky, meaningless tarantula manure that seems to pollute the internet more and more each day. This means that when a celebrity sex scandal breaks, we stay away from it like it’s a radioactive pitbull with rabies, just begging to rip our throats out. There are way smarter things to pay attention to, like this and this. So when James Franco, a multi-talented artist who we once put on the cover of our magazine, accompanied by a very thoughtful, insightful, and well-written profile, and who we once had interviewed by two cats about a book he had just written, apparently tries to hook up with a 17-year-old girl on Instagram, we ignore it. It is not our story to tell. We are far more interested in reading interviews between James Franco and his favorite artists. We’ll leave all that James Franco trying to hookup with a 17 year old on Instagram nonsense to the bad guys.
UPDATE: So there’s a good chance this is all an elaborate hoax by James Franco to promote his new film Palo Alto, where he places a soccer coach trying to seduce a high schooler. Well played.
