Most of the world has been left reeling, speechless following Tuesday’s election. Not Azealia Banks. The controversial rapper took to Facebook early Wednesday morning to gloat about Trump’s victory. Banks mocked Hillary and condemned Beyoncé, Jay Z, Pharrell and other celebrities who vehemently opposed The Donald, also taking the opportunity to sing her own praises, noting that she’s been “the catalyst for numerous global conversations surrounding race and gender” and can “move an entire nation of people” from the comfort of her toilet seat.
The “212” singer also lashed out at commenters who’ve called her crazy, saying she predicted the election outcome, and expressed her disdain for the liberal media.
Of course, Banks also used the election as an excuse for self-promotion—she’s now offering 10% off everything in her store with the code MAKE AZEALIA GREAT AGAIN. After all, what’s a national crisis if not an opportunity for publicity—just ask Lindsay Lohan.
And as the rest of the America continues to mourn the loss of their country, Banks has already moved on to bigger, more important issues—like whether or not she should get another ear piercing.
Don’t worry, though, Banks continued to chime in as everyone else protested Trump’s win.
She also decided to explain her reasons for being a Trumpkin, and dropped some knowledge about the “American Dream.”
At this rate, Banks just might be our next president—because clearly experience, homophobia, transphobia and a dirty ass mouth, don’t disqualify you. God save us all.
