For the most part, YouTube covers uploaded by basic-ass people haven’t contributed much to the world besides a slush-pile of shit to wade through when you’re searching for your favorite song. But occasionally, one breaks though the muck, and some site or other posts about it, then others follow suit because honestly, no one knows what we’re doing around here *points at entire internet* anymore. That’s likely going to be the case with this cover of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On,” by a soulful young fellow named Jordan Lamont Landers.

Landers, who, hahahahahaha, has red hair, which is always funny and definitely not a tired thing to point out over and over again, has a series of similarly well-done covers, like this in particular of the literal saddest song of all time, Bill Withers’ “Aint No Sunshine.”
