Remember last week, when a big Hollywood studio told the world that they were casting a huge movie star in a very well-known role in a hugely anticipated movie, and then the world collectively threw up? Today the opposite has happened (the opposite of throwing up is eating tons of food, happily btw), because it’s looking like Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel sequel is a sure thing. Respected news outlet Cosmic Book News broke the story that the Breaking Bad star has signed on to play Superman’s arch nemesis in multiple films.
Wait a second. Cosmic Book News? To be fair, we picked up this story from actual respected news outlet Rolling Stone who used CBN as their source. But that same CBN source claimed that Warner Bros. is looking to sign Matt Damon as Aquaman, and that Affleck has been signed on for a 13 movie deal. So yeah, although Cranston-as-Luthor is dream casting at its finest, and still might happen, this whole thing is probably premature. But boy is it fun to speculate over, amiright?
