The music video channels this same cinematic nostalgia, packaging Colyer’s lyrics into a visual that feels like slipping into a forgotten film where the plot centers on a couple who’s loaded up their vintage two-door to embark on the road trip of their life.
“After I had an expected rough first year in LA, I met a beautiful soul named Naomi,” Colyer said. “We’d go on spontaneous road trips and she’d bring her camera. We’d head toward the ocean or the desert and just stop along the way. The film, which she directed, doesn’t just reflect that, it ‘is’ that.
