Premiere: THRILLERS Reveals Their ‘Fears of Love’ in New Power-Pop Single

+

We first fell in love with Los Angeles duo THRILLERS a year ago, with the release of their debut six-track EP, Cotton Candy Kisses, which introduced the brother band’s nostalgic, ’80s-imbued sound.

Since then, they’ve teamed up with Twin Shadow to produce “NMT,” and today we’re sharing its follow-up, “Fears of Love”—a bright pop single that “not only represents the anxiety of falling in love, but also the emotional rollercoaster ride of letting in someone new.”

“Fears of Love” is the second song from the three-part montage that first appeared on 50 limited edition vinyl records, released through Master & Dynamic’s “M&D Selects” program. Immediate and accessible, THRILLERS has, once again, tapped into that precious space in pop where campy lyrical cliches are heightened by irresistible, driving synth production.
