LA-based R&B newcomer Vincent Coleman began building buzz for his forthcoming debut EP Past Lovers with “Little Eyes,” a sleek, sultry single that brings together the allure of Miguel’s vocals with the sparse, slow-burning production of James Blake. The singer’s sophomore single, “Just One / Fall Through,” introduces a more high-octane sound for the rising singer, as Coleman dives into the pain he’s experienced falling in and out of love.
“[The song] is about reaching that final breaking point in your relationship where you’re ready to call it quits and no longer look back,” Coleman mused. “But even in that confidence, there is still a part of you that cares, hoping you don’t break their heart beyond repair, leaving them without a life line.”
