Premiere: Miami Horror’s Exuberantly Charming ‘Colours In the Sky’

It’s a chilly day in the northeast, but “Colours In the Sky” from Australia/Los Angeles’ Miami Horror has us in the mindset of all sorts of warmer, happier climates, both literally and psychologically speaking. “So many colors fill the sky. So many good things to come,” they sing in exuberant harmony over the crackling of golden-hued synths.

“We wrote this song up in a lakeside log cabin near the outskirts of LA,”  Ben Plant explained. “It was a really inspiring and refreshing time so we chose to write about that and everything that is uplifting about life. George and I were kind of reflecting on our experiences with wanting to achieve our musical goals and how it’s all about aiming high and seeing the positives in each opportunity.”

The single with “Real Slow” (whose remix by Gold Fields we premiered a while back) is available digitally today, and on vinyl from Neon Gold.
