Fresh off his aptly titled lead single, “Manic,” Houston-based Chase DeMaster returns today with another single from his sophomore Children of Pop full-length, What Does 69 Mean? via #VeryJazzed. Keeping with CoP’s DIY bedroom-pop sound, “R U I N I T 4 L U V ? !” is an experimental, energetic cut that sees DeMaster’s distorted vocals working above wonky, synth-heavy production.

“I think I was also DJing the Mortal Kombat theme a quite a lot around the time when I wrote this, so there’s maybe a little bit of a techno influence,” DeMaster said. “[It’s] Swishahouse meets Acid House, revisioned on a 303.”
