Having recently relocated from Chicago to NYC, Futurehood emcee Mister Wallace is taking 2016 by the balls. Her breakout single, “Whoremoan,” made our list of 2015’s Top Queer Tracks, and now she’s back with a killer follow-up, “It Girl,” off her forthcoming FAGGOT EP.

The track, produced by SXYLK and SHYSHAKER, is charged with relentless, cocky lyricism, from the opening interrogation, “Have you seen me in the magazine?” to the chorus, which promises Wallace knows “you’re talking shit, girl.” She’s got “coco butter on da legs,” and warns you to “call the feds”—a valid caution for the newcomer who’s proudly “snatchin’ heads.”

In lieu of the track’s premiere, we followed Wallace around her new NYC home base to track the life of an “it girl,” as she visits the Whitney Museum, takes a hit during a backyard Brooklyn BBQ and prepares for a long night out at her apartment, where she currently lives out of a suitcase.
