While many of H&M’s over-hyped designer collaborations are just watered down versions of the luxury brand’s main line, as predicted, Kenzo’s forthcoming H&M collab looks nothing short of dope.
The sneak peek that dropped today proves these duds will be worth the wait. Kenzo took its colorful, print-friendly DNA several steps further, fashioning head-to-toe zebra cat suits (perfect attire for a catfight at H&M when the collection finally drops). But the item we’re really drooling over is that coat, accented with powder pink shearling. Yum.
Rather than opt for humdrum models (we’re looking at you, Balenciaga), Carol Lim and Humberto Leon tapped activist Amy Small, artist and poet Juliana Huxtable, musician Oko Ebombo and make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench to show off the looks.
When it comes to Kenzo x H&M, we’ve gotta catch ’em all.
