Let’s just get one thing out of the way: wax figures are weird and terrifying. The very fact that we create eerily lifelike replicas of our favorite (and most detested) celebs out of wax and then dress them up in clothing and put them on display is one of the most disturbing things we do as a species. The fact that people then pay actual money to bask in the presence of these monstrosities only makes it worse. That being said, if you’re going to make a creepy, hyper-realistic wax figure of a celeb, you might as well make it a shirtless, wet Justin Bieber.
Inspired by Bieber’s “Sorry” performance, as seen during his Purpose tour (duh), the shiny figure is currently on display at Madame Tusseaud’s in London. It is the second shirtless wax figure to be lovingly made in the pop stars image (the other one lives in Las Vegas). Here is a dramatic video introducing the thing to the world:

Disclaimer: wet, shirtless, wax Justin Bieber may or may not come to life while we’re sleeping.
