Red Bull Music Academy and RBMA Radio have teamed up with PC Music to “reclaim the birthplace of modern pop and build a new metropolis” with Pop City, a “city made of LED screens, confetti and platinum-certified entertainment.”
PC Music Presents: Pop City is part of Red Bull Music Academy’s RBMA Radio LA-pop up, celebrating their relaunch as a 24/7 streaming platform. From July 11-22 Red Bull will broadcast live from their custom-built Downtown LA studio, hosting special events and performances, including a discussion with filmmaker Gaspar Noe, a screening of United States of Bass, a showcase from Mexico City’s N.A.A.F.I., and the Pop City party on July 20 at Create Nightclub.
The London-based label will “pull out all the stops,” curating a show that will feature some of their biggest stars. A.G. Cook, Danny L Harle, easyFUN, Felicita, GFOTY, Hannah Diamond, Lil Data, QT and Spinee will take the stage, as well as a few surprise special guests.
