Following a slew of nonstop Paris Fashion Week presentations, Zana and I had a two-day break from shows during which we partook in the most Parisian of pastimes: shopping. Our first stop was at the boutique of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, where Zana fell in love with a pair skeleton gloves. (She would!) Next, we headed over to Le Baron to watch friend our, DJ Mike Nouveau, spin some fabulous tunes. I couldn’t let Zana leave Paris without first trying the hotspot’s infamous strawberry vodka champagne cocktails.
The next day, determined to both shop and drop, we made a dangerous stop at the Givenchy store with our friends Gabby Lopez and The Standard’s Sebastian Puga. Zana got her panther on, and I fell in love with an exquisite bone necklace. One of the last things I wanted to buy in Paris was cologne, and, thankfully, Zana recommended her favorite shop, Etat Libre d’Orange. Stylist Leanne Trigg indulged in the elegant Delicious Closet Queen, while Zana fell in love with Tilda Swinton’s naturalist Like This. As a lover of strong scents, I bought one of the house fragrances, Eloge du Traître. Finally, we swung by the Damir Doma after-party for a New York minute, before ending the night at the over-the-top L’Officiel bash at the famous Maxim’s de Paris. Á demain!
