NYC Building Explodes and Collapses, 30 People Injured

A mixed occupancy building collapsed this afternoon at 3:20 PM in NYC’s East Village, according to the NY Post. The four-story building was located at the corner of Second Avenue and East Seventh Street, and experienced a three-alarm emergency, resulting in 30 people’s severe injuries. CBS Local reports that there was a non-stop work order on the building, although the cause of today’s explosion is currently unknown.
