Slightly edgy bros in need of new outerwear are in luck because The North Face/Supreme collaboration hits stores tomorrow. Is it just me or does a new Supreme collab drop, like, every day? If a Supreme collab drops in the forest and no one is there to line up for it, does it still exist? Such are the existential questions of our streetwear-obsessed era.
Anyway, the collections itself is okay. Some of the pieces are kind of basic (a regular ol’ North Face with the Supreme logo emblazoned on various areas) and some are more inventive (a jacket printed with a map of the world). The jackets and pants are made of outdoorsy materials like fleece and Goretex and come in colors so bright you can probably see them from outer space. (I know, I know, that’s kind of the point.)
There are also corresponding backpacks, but I can’t in good conscience advise anyone to match their backpack to their jacket, even if it is, according to Supreme and The North Face, cool to do so. Oh, and did I mention there are headbands? Well, there are.
Prices range from $488 USD for a Trans Antarctica Expedition Pullover to $54 for one of the aforementioned headbands. The collection will be available March 30 online and at Supreme locations in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Paris. Get ready to see it all on frat bros, downtown hipsters, and everyone in between.
