Mykki Blanco Teases New Music, ‘I Came to New York Fucking Rich White Men’

Rapper Mykki Blanco hasn’t released a full-length solo body of work since his 2014 Gay Dog Food LP, which delivered standout tracks like the Gobby-produced, Ian Isiah collab, “Fulani,” and the ravenous single, “Moshin in the Front,” featuring Cities Aviv. His collaborative release, C-ORE, boasted one of our favorite queer tracks of 2015, though we’ve rightfully been craving more from Blanco.

Tonight, our hunger was appeased when the rapper posted two song previews onto his Facebook from a forthcoming unnamed release. Both tracks sound like signature Blanco: hard-hitting, ominous production with his lyrical flow plowing confidently above. In one, he raps the line: “I came to New York, acting real light skin; I came to New York fucking rich white men.” Listen to a taste, below:
