Tomorrow is the first official day of fall which means perfectly staged *new fall boots* and latte art pics are literally 24 hours from clogging your Instagram feed for the next two months. Autumn is kinda cute though, so I’m not that mad at it––and is it just me or are there so many more events in the fall than any other season? The first two actually worthy of going to this season are the New York Art Book Fair and Independent Art Book Fair. Open from this Friday through Sunday––with a ticketed preview of the NYABF happening tonight––the fairs will feature workshops and readings, and of course, the season’s best new art books. With pressings from renowned artists Julie Doucet and Peter Barnett, you’ll definitely be able to one-up your friends’ autumnal equinox photos with a pic of your super smart new coffee table book. And both events are free, so you really have no excuse not to.
Buy tickets for the New York Art Book Fair Preview on September 21, from 6-9 PM here.
