Back in February, Italian jewelry designer and retailer GOGO PHILIP debuted a broadening of his vintage-inspired vision at London Fashion Week, presenting a full range of ready-to-wear for women. Created in collaboration with London stylist cum designer Kusi Kubi, the collection is something of an antidote to the wave of boxy, minimal designs seen on many womenswear runways in recent seasons.
Appearing in a specially commissioned film in duplicate sets of three, these body-conscious looks immediately recall the trinity of supermodels that reigned over fashion in the ’90s. With a twist of sportswear-inspired sex appeal and deliberately OTT adornment of the GP insignia, the looks also bring to mind the likes of Jade and a slew of other R&B girl groups of the same era. A vision of daywear through clubwear, this openly nostalgic ode caters strictly to those that crave attention through their style. Shop the collection, online.
