There’s no shortage of reasons to admire Irish/German actor Michael Fassbender: he’s a great talent, starring in one of the biggest movies of the year, with 2013 seeing him take the lead in Ridley Scott’s The Counselor, as well as getting back up with frequent collaborator Steve McQueen for Twelve Years a Slave. He also comes off as affable and easy-going in interviews, and of course he’s *holds hands far apart* this handsome. Apparently someone at Buzzfeed went digging through YouTube clips of Fassbender and found another reason to pile on to the actor’s greatness; he can sing. The video below shows some three minutes of the actor singing at various occasions, by invitation or not. He even plays guitar in one of the clips, which sorta makes you think of that annoying guy at the party who wants everyone to know how talented he is, except he’s not annoying at all, because it’s Michael Fassbender and the film-watching public are all thrilled about how talented he is! The Playlist goes as far as suggesting that Scorcese’s maybe considering Fassbender for the Frank Sinatra biopic he’s supposed to be working on, which, if it came to pass, would be a far better use of Fassbender’s talents than say, a Rock of Ages sequel.
